The Furniture Ombudsman (TFO) is an independent organisation which
specialises in providing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) solutions
for consumers of the furniture, home improvement and floor coverings
industry.
TFO offers an efficient Alternative Dispute Resolution Service that
removes the stress involved with going to court and provides
transparency with regards to costs.
When purchasing from a registered Full Member
of The Furniture Ombudsman, consumers benefit from additional
assurances over service and excellence which reach further than their
basic legal rights. The Ombudsman’s professionally qualified team
endeavour to resolve disputes through a process of conciliation and
adjudication. All of the Ombudsman’s adjudication awards are binding on
the retailer – but not the consumer.
